Amboseli National Park is known as ‘Home of the African elephant.’ It is crowned by mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
The name ‘Amboseli’ comes from a maasai word meaning ‘salty dust’ and it is one of the best park in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.Other park attractions includes opportunities to meet maasai and visit a maasai village.
Along with the elephants,you will have the chance to see buffaloes, impalas, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and others.The best wildlife viewing is during the dry season because it is the time the animals flock to the marshes,lakes and other water holes.

Pick up from Nairobi at 7:30 am,where we will take you on a drive through african Savannah country with local homesteads.You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your lodge for check in and have lunch.Later in the afternoon more game drives and for photography, mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic background.Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, when the animals are most active. This is also a great time to see Mount Kilimanjaro, as the sky is usually clear in the morning.
Return to your lodge for breakfast, then spend the rest of the morning relaxing or taking part in optional activities such as guided nature walks or cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages.
After lunch, head out for another game drive in the park.Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning game drive and later return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli and depart for Nairobi with a stopover for lunch on the way.Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and drop off at the pickup.
